- Equipped with an electronic chip that stores the holder’s biometric data, such as fingerprints, face, and personal data. Considered safer and more difficult to counterfeit than a regular passport.
- The electronic passport is green with the Garuda Pancasila symbol on the cover.

Diplomatic Passport:
- Issued to state or government officials and diplomats.

- Blue in color with the Garuda Pancasila symbol on the cover.
